We are looking for motivated active duty service members and disabled Veterans who want to learn new, employable skills in the entertainment/media field and who are ready, willing and able to go to work. Any veteran (active duty or medically retired) wounded or disabled since 9/11 qualifies. Virtually no disability is disqualifying: all training equipment is adaptable to individual challenges. No prior media training necessary. Job opportunities are many and placement for the motivated is 100%. Any disabled Veteran should already possess the basic skill set required to work professionally as part of a media crew: discipline, leadership, dependability, attention to detail and mission accomplishment. - Check out a few of the films produced by our graduates here- This Careers in Media training program is aggressively structured and executed. Students must be passionate to learn and ready to go to work upon graduation. PEB's must be completed prior to the start of training and pain management levels must be at a level to complete full workdays generally unmedicated. Award-Winning FacultyThe Wounded Marine Careers Foundation has assembled a rotating visiting faculty comprised of filmmakers, directors of photography, writers, editors, cameramen, soundmen, photographers, and other technicians leading.
Job Placement: The Foundation works with each graduating student to find the job of their choice. |
